The project focuses on the promotion of reading. The Reading Club and mini clubs are created, through the themes: bullying, cyberbullying and gender-based violence. Reading motivates society, starting with families, passing through schools and ending up in institutions. We are mediators, we must teach to read so that no interpretation can be imposed. Reading must be a pleasure, an activity of leisure and enjoyment, it makes you grow intellectually. With the appearance of digital media and platforms, the status quo of reading has changed. The elements of the reading chain and the institutions that revolve around it, such as schools and libraries, must be redefined.

We intend to eradicate bullying, cyber bullying and gender-based violence in youth, through the objectives set forth:

1-Develop the reading habit.

2-Work basic skills: linguistic, cultural, artistic, social, citizen communication, Autonomy and personal development.

3-Transmit sensations and emotions through reading.

4- Provide teachers with competencies to motivate students in their learning process with a more inclusive methodology.

5-Train teachers with the use of tools. Digital Web 2.0 and 3.0 as well as social networks, their management, education and Etiquette-Net (appropriate behavior in social networks).

6-Improve the linguistic competence of teachers in Italian.

7-Increase knowledge of the different educational systems and of Italian culture.

8-Strengthen the European dimension of the center, facilitate future projects. Develop synergies of collaboration between the two countries.

9-Incorporate strategies based on multiple intelligences and emotional.

To reinforce the European dimension in secondary education, and high school students will participate in Long-Term Mobility, the most socially disadvantaged will be taken into account, it will be an opportunity: it will become more open, tolerant, receptive to other cultures. For three months he will live outside his daily life, he will know that there is another different and attainable reality. It will be worth it for a future job. Good teaching practices, innovative teaching materials and new methodologies will be worked on, promoted and disseminated.

Students will respect the new language, value theirs and the cultural diversity that enriches them. It will be learned with an innovative teaching: Cooperative Learning, Learning by doing and Peer to peer. Own skills, group work, social and planning relationships will be improved. ICTs will work. During mobility, the accompanying faculty will perform a shadowing job and a teacher will conduct CLIL classes in the host country by both parties. Project activities:

 

a) Creation of mini reading clubs.

b) Micro stories workshops. Writing, selection, presentation to Grupo Leo and Premi Contarella awards from the city of Alicante. Reading musicada in the Assembly Hall.

c) "We're going to the theater." Cultural activity in both cities.

d) Bookstore visit, activities.

e) Workshop of Traditional Mediterranean Gastronomy. Recovery of traditional recipes. Exposition. Elaboration of these.

f) Comic book workshops. Exhibition in the Lobby.
